Day 47: Beer, Basketball, and Fried Chicken

We got up later this morning after the late night we spent last night talking.  I was up around 10-ish, earlier than everyone else so I played some Red Dead Redemption.  A really awesome Cowboy game on Lucas' xbox 360.  You pretty much just get to run around on horseback and kill bad guys in the Wild West.  What is there not to like about this?  Cowboys, Western, Horses, and shooting bad guys.  Everything you could want!

When everyone finally got up though, I decided to head to the gym for the first time in forever!  It was really nice to work out again.  And after the workout, in the very nice free facility that Lucas has here, Joel and I went to the working lounge.  There was free hot chocolate there....free! We had some while we were trying to apply for summer jobs.  If anyone knows a ranch in Canada looking for Wranglers give us an e-mail.

After spending a couple hours sending e-mails, we headed back to Lucas' room.  We decided that that night we would eat fried chicken and biscuits from Lee's Chicken.  Apparently an amazing chicken place that Lucas has been raving about since he first ate there.  So Joel and I went to pick up the food and left Lucas to study.  When we got back with a dozen biscuits and 16 pieces of chicken we settled in to watch the Final Four basketball games for March Madness.

It was a great night of beer, chicken, and basketball.  The games were entertaining to watch and the food was delicious, probably the best fried chicken I have ever eaten.  And the biscuits were so soft and buttery, it was amazing! After both games had finished, at around 11 o'clock we headed to bed.  Satisfied with all the yummy food I had an amazing night sleep!
