Koh Samui (The Last of our Island Adventures...For Now!)

We took the ferry from Koh Phangan to Koh Samui early in the morning.  Pretty easy stuff as it is literally the island right next door.  What was supposed to be about and hour trip did end up turning into two as the ferry was late.  But we are now expecting such transit days!

Everyone Waiting for the Ferry!

Once on the ferry it was an easy 30 min trip across the water and onto a new island and a new adventure!  Here we stayed at a really nice hotel (I know fancy!) that was about 2 min from the beach.  Which of course we took advantage of! Unfortunately the weather was not quite up to par of what we were hoping, but we still spent lots of time in the sun!  We also spent time shopping, getting massages on the beach (these were AMAZING) and of course eating!  This was probably my favorite island that we visited, the beaches were nice and the food was delicious!

Amazing Pad Thai we found for (1.30 per person!!!!)

Of Course We Watched the Dutch Beat Australia (Thailand Style, with Mojitos!)

Amazing Beaches!

Our Massage Place!  We both Got Two!

Yummy Food on the Beach!

An Amazing and More Important CHEAP Restaurant!

Pancakes on the Street for Dessert!
One of the really cool things that we did when we were on this island was go to a hot pot/ bbq place.  This is a Thai way of eating and was a restaurant clearly for Thai people, we were the only white people there!  I had read about this on the internet and had to try it!  It was really awesome and totally delicious!  And only about 5 dollars for all you can eat!  This is called Moo Ka Ta.

All Types of Meats ( We had NO Idea What Everything was...)

The Desert Table!

Veggies!

This was How You Cooked, Soup on the Bottom Meat on the BBQ

This was really cool!  You made noodles and veggies in the soup and then cooked all kinds of meat on the top on the BBQ.  The juices ran into the soup helping create an amazing flavor!  So yummy and very cool!  Did I also mention we walked the 7 km to get to this restaurant?  Not too shabby!

Finally after 5 days we had to head out to Chiang Mai!  Bye Bye Tropical Islands!

The Koh Samui Airport!  So beautiful!
